Blasts rock Norway, massive blast near US Embassy in capital Oslo, horrifying VIDEO surfaced
Oslo US Embassy Explosion: A loud explosion was heard near the US Embassy in Norway’s capital Oslo early Sunday morning, creating panic in the area. As soon as information about the blast was received, a large number of police and security agencies immediately reached the spot and surrounded the entire area and started investigation.
Oslo District Police issued an official statement saying that the explosion was heard at around 1 am local time. However, in the initial investigation it was not immediately clear what was the real reason for the blast and whether any person or group had a role in it or not. Police said that considering the seriousness of the case, every possible aspect is being investigated.

Embassy security increased
According to police officials, they are in constant touch with US Embassy officials and the security situation is being assessed. It is a matter of relief that no one has been reported injured so far. Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, security arrangements have been tightened in the area around the embassy.
After the incident, some eyewitnesses living in the area told Norway’s leading newspaper Verdens Gang that smoke was seen rising around the embassy complex immediately after the blast. However, it is not yet clear what caused the smoke.
Efforts were made to reach the embassy for comment on the incident outside normal office hours, but no official comment was immediately available. At present, police and security agencies are engaged in thorough investigation of the case.
