Selection trial for 17th Senior National Bodybuilding Championship will be held in J&K

JAMMU.Jammu: Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) has announced the selection trials for the famous 17th Senior Men’s and Women’s Bodybuilding Championship 2026. This championship will be held from 28 to 29 March in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The National Championship will be held on March 28 at Crown Palace Hotel, South Tukoganj and on March 29 at the Basketball Complex, Race Course Road. Top athletes from all over India will participate in this event organized by the state bodybuilding organization under IBBF. To choose the team to represent Jammu and Kashmir, the selection trials will be held on Sunday, March 8 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the International Gym.

Eligible bodybuilders and physique athletes from across the Union Territory have been called to participate in different weight and category divisions. Participants must report on time in correct competition dress, valid government issued identity card and complete registration formalities. Strict rules of IBBF will be followed in the selection so that fairness and transparency is maintained. Athletes who qualify at the national level will also get a chance to participate in South Asia Bodybuilding Championship, Asian Bodybuilding Championship and World Bodybuilding Championship.
