1. Ghaziabad becomes the most polluted city of the country, many cities of Delhi-NCR are in the top list.

This time in the winter season, Ghaziabad remained the most polluted city in the country in terms of air pollution. According to the latest report of the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA), the highest level of pollution was recorded in Ghaziabad between November 2025 and February 2026. The average level of PM 2.5 in the city during this period was around 184 micrograms per cubic metre, the report said. This figure is almost three times more than India’s national air quality standard.

2. Hanging House controversy: Arvind Kejriwal appeared before the Privilege Committee

Arvind Kejriwal on Friday appeared before the Privilege Committee of the Delhi Assembly in the matter of ‘hanging house’ controversy. 3. Multi-modal corridor will be built in Pachgaon of Delhi-Jaipur Highway.

A multi-modal corridor will soon be built at Pachgaon Chowk on Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will appoint a consultant for this project. These instructions were issued by V. Umashankar, Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, on Thursday evening. During a meeting held in Delhi, he told the officials that the traffic pressure at Pachgaon Chowk is likely to increase significantly in the coming times. Keeping this in mind, a plan has been made to develop a multi-modal corridor at this intersection, so that the increasing traffic can be handled in a better way in future and the passengers can get relief from the jam.

4. CM Rekha Gupta approved schemes worth Rs 177 crore for relief from waterlogging.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has taken a big step to deal with the problem of waterlogging that occurs every year during monsoon in the capital Delhi. The department has approved major remodeling projects of storm water drains in nine areas of North and North-West Delhi. These projects have been granted administrative and expenditure approval under the New Master Drainage Plan. Their total cost is said to be more than Rs 177 crore. Under the project, old and dilapidated drains will be rebuilt with modern precast RCC technology.
