Controversy over Badshah’s song
Mumbai: Famous rapper and singer Badshah is in controversy these days due to his new song ‘Tattiri’. Social media and various organizations have expressed strong objection to some lyrics of the song. He is accused of using objectionable words in the song for school going girls. Haryana State Women Commission has sent summons to Badshah on this issue. Apart from this, an FIR has also been registered against him in Haryana.
Women’s Commission’s response
Haryana Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia has expressed a sharp reaction on this matter. He said that use of such language against daughters is not at all tolerable. He also informed that Badshah will have to appear before the commission on March 13 and give clarification regarding the lyrics of the song. If he does not appear, the Commission will not allow him to organize the event in Haryana. He said that there is no point in calling those who underestimate the respect of daughters as kings.

Renu Bhatia said that artists should use great art like music to convey positive messages. He said that the young generation nowadays is greatly influenced by music, hence it is the responsibility of the artists to create such songs which have a positive impact on the society.
The king apologized
Badshah apologized and removed the song
After the controversy escalated, Badshah has apologized for his song. He said in a video message that nothing is more important than the feelings of the people. Subsequently, the song has been removed from all platforms. It is being told that an FIR has been registered in this matter in the cyber crime police station of Panchkula, which has been done under the laws related to objectionable portrayal of women and some sections of the Indian Penal Code.
