Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt has officially unveiled the first look of her upcoming action thriller Alpha, confirming that the highly anticipated film will hit theatres on July 10, 2026.
The announcement was shared through her social media platforms, ending speculation about a possible direct-to-digital release.
The film marks a significant milestone as the first female-led installment in the YRF Spy Universea franchise that includes blockbuster titles such as One That Tiger (2012), War (2019), and Pathan (2023).

The newly released poster offers a striking glimpse of Bhatt in an intense action avatar. The image frames her through the Greek symbol Alpha, highlighting visible battle scars including a cut on her shoulder and bruises on her lip and eyebrow. Despite the injuries, the character’s determined expression suggests a powerful and fearless persona.

Alpha was originally scheduled for a Christmas 2025 release before being moved to April 17, 2026. The makers later postponed it again to avoid a box office clash with Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama Battle of Galwan.
