‘Dhurandhar 2’ dominates advance booking, leaves ‘Stree 2’ behind with record earnings –

New record made in premier advance booking

As soon as advance booking started for the paid premiere show of the film to be held on March 18, huge demand for tickets was seen. According to reports, the film has sold more than 2 lakh tickets across the country.

According to trade reports, the film has earned around Rs 12.29 crore from the preview shows alone. Including block seats, the advance booking of the premiere show has earned around Rs 18.1 crore. These figures include the total pre-sales of all five languages ​​– Hindi along with Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil.

Records of ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Chennai Express’ also broken

In terms of advance booking, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has left behind the records of many big Bollywood films. The film has already crossed the premiere earnings of Chennai Express.

Not only this, it has also left behind Stree 2’s paid preview record of Rs 9.40 crore. With this, it has become one of the films with highest premiere sales in Bollywood.

Story and starcast of spy action thriller

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is the sequel of Dhurandhar released in the year 2025. The story of the film is based on the past of Hamza Ali, an Indian spy agent, whose real name is revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, actors like Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera will be seen in important roles in the film.

The film will be released in theaters worldwide on March 19, 2026, during the festive season of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid-ul-Fitr.
