Why Pluribus Might Never Have a Bob Odenkirk & Rhea Seehorn Reunion
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk recently spoke about the chances of him reuniting with Rhea Seehorn on Vince Gilligan‘s new Apple TV show To many. Notably, Seehorn plays series protagonist Carol Sturka on Pluribus and played Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul.
Bob Odenkirk on why he might not make a cameo on Pluribus
Odenkirk recently addressed the prospect of making a cameo appearance in Pluribus after working with Gilligan on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. At first, the Nobody star offered a positive review of the show. “Across the board, excellent. Six stars, eight stars. How many stars do you got? It helps if you know what Vince Gilligan does,” Odenkirk told ScreenRant. “And you watch the show the way he has trained us to watch, which is to pay attention to every detail. Every little thing that you see will matter. And, of course, he’s exploring very relevant themes and taking the post-apocalyptic world into a new direction, an ethical direction.”
When asked if he would ever pop in on the show, the Little Women actor said, “Of course I would.” However, he subsequently added, “You can’t do that. I think I will destroy the fabric of his world.” This likely refers to how Odenkirk’s appearance in Pluribus could potentially disrupt the show’s narrative and the viewing experience for the fans.
Pluribus debuted on Apple TV on November 7, 2025. Season 1 has eight episodes that aired until December 24, 2025. The streamer originally greenlit the show with a two-season order. Back in February, Gilligan indicated that it might be a while before the sophomore season comes out.
Pluribus takes place in a world where most of humanity has become peaceful and hive-minded due to an alien virus. Carol, a novelist, is one of the very few people who are immune to this virus. Besides Seehorn, the series’ cast includes Karolina Wydra as Zosia and Carlos-Manuel Vesga as Manousos Oviedo.
