White phosphorus is a terrible death! Netanyahu’s new weapon to kill people in Lebanon
War is the display of cruelty, the immortality of humanity. The Iran war is no exception. Israel is using white phosphorus, a terrible chemical weapon in Lebanon! A human rights organization has even alleged that the weapon is being used in civilian areas. Just how dangerous is this white phosphorus?
The human rights organization monitoring the Iran war in Lebanon claims that on March 3, Israeli infantry illegally fired white phosphorus from cannons at houses in residential areas. The attack was carried out by Netanyahu’s forces in the southern city of Yomore, Lebanon. This claim has been made by analyzing seven satellite images. The IDF fired ‘phosphorus munitions’ or white phosphorus shells at local homes and vehicles. “The illegal use of white phosphorus by the Israeli army in residential areas is a matter of concern. It will have dire consequences for civilians,” said researcher Ramji Kais, a human rights group.
How dangerous is white phosphorus?
White phosphorus is a chemical used in cannonballs, bombs and rockets. It burns instantly when exposed to oxygen. If thrown at houses, farms and other civilian structures, they can be burnt down in an instant. According to international human rights law, the use of white phosphorus in populated areas is illegal. Use of white phosphorus in civilian areas is criminal. After this, Israel’s use of white phosphorus raises questions about Netanyahu’s brutal war policy.
Note that America and Israel launched a joint attack on Iran on February 28. Several regions of Iran, including Tehran, have been practically destroyed. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died in the attack. In response, Iran is attacking several American military bases spread across the Middle East and Israel. Massive missile and drone attacks have been carried out on Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey. The death toll in Iran has exceeded two thousand in the war. Several countries, including Russia, China, Spain, India, have offered peace proposals, but none of the parties is willing to withdraw from the war.
