Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei injured in Israeli attack – claim

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of Iran’s late supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has reportedly been injured in an Israeli strike. According to the Times of Israel report, he was injured during the ongoing war.

State TV described Mujtaba as “killed”, meaning he was injured in an enemy attack. However, it is not yet clear in which incident he got injured. After the death of his wife, daughter and father on February 28, Mujtaba was not seen in public after the war started.

Last night he was declared the new Supreme Leader of Iran. Earlier, Israel and America had warned against electing a new Supreme Leader without permission and had said that whoever becomes the new Supreme Leader of Iran will be found and eliminated.
