New Delhi. An Indigo Airlines flight took off for Manchester (UK) from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. After flying for about 7 hours, as soon as the plane reached Ethiopia’s air border, it had to take a U-turn and return from there. As soon as the pilot turned the plane towards Delhi, there was panic among all the passengers on board. Regarding this entire matter, Indigo Airlines has issued a statement explaining why the plane had to return after traveling such a distance. In fact, due to the sudden closure of airspace over Western Asia due to the war in the Middle East, the Indigo aircraft had to return without reaching the destination.
