Sanjay Singh, Patna: On Monday, a case came to light from Tilothu police station area of Rohtas district of Bihar, which created an atmosphere of discussion in the area. In a street of the local New Area locality, a young man openly applied vermilion on the demand of his girlfriend. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in a nearby house. Whose video is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.
After the incident, various types of discussions have started in the area. Some people are calling it a matter related to personal relationship between a young man and a girl. Whereas many people are raising questions about such incidents in public places. Police has also received information about this viral video.

According to the information, on Monday morning a girl had reached New Area locality on a bike with a young man she knew. After stopping the bike in the street, both were seen talking to each other for some time. According to the CCTV footage, during the conversation, the young man suddenly applied vermillion to the girl from behind. All this happened so fast that even the people present around did not understand what had happened.
It is seen in the footage that after applying vermillion, both of them stand there for some time, then leave on their bikes. Shortly after the incident, someone shared the CCTV video on social media. After this, within no time the video started going viral on different platforms and became a topic of discussion in the area. Local people say that such an incident has been seen for the first time in the street.

No complaint was made
After the viral video surfaced, the police also became aware of the matter. Dehri Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO-2) Vandana Mishra said that the police has received information about the incident but till now no written application has been given to the police station by any party. He said that at the moment the matter appears to be a personal matter between two individuals.
The SDPO made it clear that if a complaint is filed by any party, the police will investigate the matter and take appropriate legal action. He also appealed to the people not to circulate videos related to any incident on social media without verification. Because there is a possibility of rumors spreading due to this.
