Will a sports stadium be built in Ghazipur? Big revelation on the meeting between Surya and CM Yogi

Suryakumar Yadav has made India world champion under his captaincy. Under the captaincy of Surya, Team India created history by winning the title of T20 World Cup 2026 in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Surya became the first captain in the world to make his team the T20 World Champion on home soil. Also, under his leadership, the Indian team defended its title. This also happened for the first time in the history of T20 World Cup.

 

After this historic victory of Team India, Surya’s uncle Vinod Yadav has demanded to build a sports stadium equipped with all kinds of facilities in Ghazipur district to enhance the talent of Purvanchal. Vinod Yadav told PTI on Monday that he had met Uttar Pradesh Sports Minister Girish Chandra Yadav about a month ago regarding his demands, who had assured him that he would put forward a proposal for the construction of a stadium equipped with modern facilities in Ghazipur in the cabinet meeting.

Vinod Yadav also told that Suryakumar had talked about this during his meeting with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match. He expressed hope that the government will fulfill his demand. Vinod Yadav said that his brother Ashok Yadav and sister-in-law Sapna Yadav (Surya’s parents) had come to Hathora village in mid-February. He visited the village temple and then after visiting Baba Vishwanath in Varanasi, he went to Ahmedabad to watch the final match.

Festive atmosphere in Surya’s village

Surya’s uncle said that after India’s victory in Hathora village, people started dancing. Vinod Yadav further said that as soon as the information about Surya’s arrival in Ghazipur is received, a big celebration will be celebrated in the district. He told that for the final of T20 World Cup, a big LED TV was installed at his residence in Hathora village last night, where a large number of people of the village enjoyed the match. As soon as New Zealand’s last wicket fell, the spectators present there started dancing happily and then everyone expressed their happiness by feeding sweets to each other. After India’s victory, fans were seen jumping with joy on the streets of Lucknow and other cities of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday night, waving the tricolor in celebration.
