After the victory in T20 World Cup, fans changed the name of cricket’s most famous review system, it will be known as DRS.

New Delhi: In cricket, DRS is known as Decision Review System but after India’s T20 World Cup victory in Ahmedabad, it has now got a new name. DRS will now be known as Dhoni, Rohit and Suryakumar. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, India won the first T20 World Cup in 2007, while Rohit Sharma made India the T20 World Cup champion after 17 years in 2024. Suryakumar Yadav gave India its third historic success by winning the T20 World Cup title in 2026. In this way, D for Dhoni, R for Rohit and S for Suryakumar together form DRS.

Statistician Shrikant Poddar, while giving this interesting information to Univarta from Bengaluru, said that India’s victory has changed the name of DRS. He told that India won this title on March 8. March is the third month of the year. India won its first World Cup in 1983. India’s current win also comes with a score of 83. DRS has no official renamed name in cricket, but it is often given new names by fans and legends in a humorous or sarcastic manner.

Dhoni Review System: It got this name because of the accurate reviews of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Decision Rohit System: This name was given by the fans after the successful reviews by Rohit Sharma against West Indies. But now DRS has got the names of Dhoni, Rohit and Suryakumar.
