The Kerala Story 2 box office collection surpasses

Entertainment: Due to Holi festival, the earnings of ‘The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond’ remained stable on Wednesday. The film earned another Rs 3.50 crore, taking the total box office collection to Rs 18.75 crore. Hopefully the film will do well tomorrow also.

According to current trends, ‘The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond’ may earn around Rs 20 crore in its first week. That’s a good amount of money for a film that has no face value, even if there is some IP value.

The original film was a blockbuster, opening with Rs 6.75 crore and collecting a nett of Rs 220 crore overall. Being a sequel to a big blockbuster, generally big numbers are expected from it, but that is not the case here. Some films in this zone achieved major success in the early 2020s, but have declined since then. For example, ‘The Bengal Files’ was dropped from ‘The Kashmir Files’. The earnings of Kashmir Files 2 will also be much less than the original, but it will do well according to its cost.

The box office collections of The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond in India are as follows:

day net

Friday Rs. 0.65 cr.

Saturday Rs. 4.50 cr.

Sunday Rs. 4.60 cr.

Monday Rs. 2.00 cr.

Tuesday Rs. 3.50 cr.

Wednesday Rs. 3.50 cr. (estimated)

Total Rs. 18.75 cr.
