Chhitauni-Tamkuhi Railway Project: Notice distribution to affected farmers

Kushinagar. On Tuesday, in Gram Panchayat Maghi Kothilwa of development block Vishunpura area, a special camp was organized at the door of village head Nathuni Chauhan to give notice to the farmers affected by land acquisition under the railway project. In the presence of the concerned employees in the camp, the affected villagers were called and notices related to compensation payment were distributed.
During this time, Satyam Yadav and Sudhir Yadav called the land owners of village Maghi Kothilwa, Arnhwa and Chiraihwa and gave them notice. According to the information, notice was received by 44 people in village Maghi Kothilwa, 34 in Arnhwa and 31 in Chiraihwa. Everyone was given notice in a peaceful manner and informed about the further process. According to the notice, the affected land owners will have to appear in the office of the Deputy Land Acquisition Officer, Deoria on March 20, 2026, between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and submit the necessary documents to receive the compensation amount.
Among the documents required for compensation payment, it has been made mandatory to submit application form, attested copy of bank account, share certificate issued by Tehsildar, photocopy of bank passbook, identity card (Aadhaar/ID card), attested copy of Khatauni, verification order issued by Tehsildar, two witness stamps, two single photographs certified by Tehsildar and three passport size photographs. Hundreds of farmers including Harilal, Kailashi Devi, Ramdarsh, Umesh, Vrinarayan, Ajay, Rajdev, Tiveni, Parma, Mohan, Manager were present to take notice during the camp. During this, the villagers were given detailed information about the entire process related to land acquisition and compensation payment.
