Pregnant Lin Laishram hospitalised to welcome first child; Randeep Hooda says ‘can’t wait’ to welcome baby

Popular Bollywood couple Randeep Hooda and his wife, actress Lin Laishram, are all set to welcome their first baby. The couple announced their pregnancy on their second wedding anniversary, November 29, 2025. Ahead of the baby’s arrival, Randeep shared an update, revealing that Lin has been hospitalized. The couple is expected to welcome their bundle of joy in a day or two.

On Tuesday morning, March 10, Randeep took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo of himself waiting outside the delivery room. He added a “Can’t Wait” sticker, showing his excitement, while a frame outside the room read, “Stay calm and be a dad.” The actor also set Ritviz’s Sage as the background music.

On Monday, Randeep and Lin shared dreamy photos from their maternity shoot in a joint post, with Lin gently caressing her baby bump.

In one photograph, Randeep places his hand on Lin’s baby bump. In another, the couple touches foreheads, with Lin looking into the camera. A third picture shows Lin proudly flaunting her baby bump. Lin wore a white shrug with a white see-through outfit, while Randeep donned a brown T-shirt.

Lin will welcome her first child at the age of 40. The actor had earlier opened up about experiencing a miscarriage.

Speaking to ETimes, Lin recalled the painful experience, saying, “After a miscarriage earlier this year, it was a tough space for us both. However, we’re just deeply grateful and keeping our fingers crossed. This is nothing short of a beautiful gift!”

On November 29, the couple shared the joyous news on social media, writing, “Two years of love, adventure, and now… a little wild one on the way.”

In 2022, Randeep made his relationship with Lin Instagram official by sharing a picture with her on Diwali. His parents were also present. “Love and light to all around the world #happydiwali,” Randeep had written alongside the photo.
