District Backward Class Welfare Officer Sonbhadra Narendra Kumar Pandey has written letter number 630/P. to the District Panchayat Raj Officer. And. K. / 2025-26, it has been informed that regarding investigation of the works done by Gram Panchayat Rorwa, Development Block Kon, District Backward Class Welfare Officer, through District Magistrate Sonbhadra’s office letter 3644/Pt.-7/Complaint/Investigation/2025-26 dated 28.01.2026, A committee of Assistant Engineer, Rural Engineering Department, Sonbhadra and Auditor Cooperative Societies and Panchayats, Sonbhadra has been formed.

In the earlier letter no. 524 dated 09 February 2026, letter no. 581 dated 21 February 2026 and letter no. 617 dated 05 March 2026, necessary records for investigation as soon as possible: cash book, muster roll, stock register, work order register, proposal register in the open meeting of the Gram Sabha, work approval register, acceptance plan register, check issue register, work order book, voucher file register, property register of the Gram Sabha. etc., other relevant records were compiled together and a letter was sent through the Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat) to make it available to the undersigned/committee. But the said records have not been obtained till 09 March 2026. In connection with the said complaint, an on-site investigation of the said complaint will be conducted by the inquiry committee on 12.03.2026.

In view of the above, the concerned ADO (Panchayat) has been directed to provide proper cooperation in conducting the investigation by being personally present with all the above mentioned records at the time of investigation. During the investigation, the complainants lodged a complaint on the Chief Minister Portal and said that from the security point of view, police force is required in the investigation so that the investigation is not affected in any way and the head representative should be kept separate from the investigation because he is working as a Shiksha Mitra in the Gram Panchayat. Now it will definitely be interesting to see whether there will actually be an impartial investigation or it will remain buried in the government files.
