Alpha release postponed: Now there will be no clash with Salman’s Battle of Galwan, new date revealed

It has become common in Bollywood to change the release date to avoid the clash of big budget films and now in this series, the release date of Alia Bhatt’s much awaited film Alpha has also been extended. It was discussed for a long time that the film may clash with Salman Khan’s film Battle of Galwan, but now the makers have made it clear that there will be no clash between the two films at the box office.

Actually, the release date of this action-thriller film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh has been changed. Earlier this film was scheduled to release on 17 April 2026, but Salman Khan’s film ‘Battle of Galwan’ is releasing on the same day. In such a situation, to avoid a big clash at the box office, the makers have decided to postpone the release of Alpha. Now this film will be released in theaters on 10 July 2026.

The makers of the film released its teaser poster on Monday, March 9 and announced the new release date. The symbol of ‘Alpha’ is visible in the poster, in which a glimpse of Alia Bhatt can also be seen. Along with the poster, it was also confirmed that the film will not be released on OTT but directly in theatres.

Interestingly, the release date of this film has been changed twice already. Alpha was initially planned to be released on the occasion of Christmas 2025. Later it was postponed to April 2026, but now finally its new release date has been fixed as July 2026.

Alia Bhatt herself also shared the information about the new date of the film on her social media account. Posting on Instagram, he wrote, “Alpha 10.07.2026… see you in cinemas.” Tremendous reactions are being seen from fans on his post. Many fans commented and wrote that they are eagerly waiting for the film. Some people also said that Alia always chooses films with strong female characters, which is commendable.

If we talk about the story of the film, then Alpha is actually a part of the famous spy universe of Yash Raj Films. Blockbuster films like Tiger, Pathaan and War have already appeared in this universe. ‘Alpha’ was also teased in the post-credit scene of War 2, released this year, which further increased the curiosity of the audience.

The film is being directed by Shiv Rawail. This story revolves around two female spies, in which Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh will be seen doing powerful action. Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol will also be seen in important roles in the film.

In this way, after changing the release date, the audience will have to wait a little longer to watch ‘Alpha’, but it is certain that this film is going to bring a great cinematic experience for the lovers of action and spy thriller.
