Strait of Hormuz: America warned Iran of taking even stricter action, said – if oil is stopped, there will be 20 times the devastation

Washington: US President Donald Trump has given a stern warning to Iran, saying that if it tries to stop oil ships from the Strait of Hormuz, America will attack it twenty times more strongly than till now.

President Trump wrote on Truth Social that if Iran does anything to stop the movement of oil ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will hit it twenty times harder than it has done so far. He said that America will target those bases of Iran which can be easily destroyed and this will make it almost impossible for Iran to stand again.

He warned that the havoc of death, fire and fury would rain upon them. However, he added that he hopes and prays that this does not happen. It is noteworthy that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the most important trade sea routes in the world. About one-fifth of the global oil trade passes through this route.

Trump described his warning as a gift from America to China and all those countries that excessively use the Strait of Hormuz. China and other Asian economies depend on crude oil and natural gas shipped via this waterway. This route has been almost closed since the war started. Earlier on Monday, Iran’s military Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had said that any Arab or European country that expels Israeli and American ambassadors from its territory will be allowed unhindered movement through the Strait of Hormuz.
