Actually, BCCI is going to organize its annual awards ceremony ‘NAMAN’ in New Delhi on Sunday, March 15, where the 5 teams that have won the ICC Trophy for India in the last two years will be honored. It also includes men’s, women’s and junior level teams. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia himself has given this information.

These 5 world champion Indian teams will get respect

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia told IANS on Tuesday (March 10) that “Indian teams winning ICC tournaments will be felicitated with their coaches and players in New Delhi on March 15.” According to Saikia, the success of all these teams will be celebrated in this function. Along with the players, coaches and support staff will also be honored.

In this event, the Indian teams winning the 2024 T20 World Cup, 2025 Women’s World Cup, Under-19 Women’s World Cup, Under-19 Men’s World Cup and 2026 T20 World Cup will be honored. Apart from this, the team that wins the 2025 Champions Trophy will also be invited to this event.

Veteran players like Rohit-Virat will be present

In this big function of BCCI, the Women’s World Cup winning team under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur will also be seen along with senior players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. At the same time, the Under-19 Men’s World Cup winning team comprising players like Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi will also be a part of this ceremony. Apart from this, the team that won the Under-19 Women’s World Cup will also be included under the captaincy of Shefali Verma.

According to reports, this program will be organized in a five star hotel near Delhi Airport, so that players can easily connect with their respective IPL teams from there. IPL 2026 is going to start from March 28, the schedule of which can be released soon.
