Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the supervision and efficient direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Anil Kumar, Cyber ​​Crime Police Station/Cyber ​​Cell Sonbhadra took prompt action on the complaints received on NCRP Portal and Pratibimba Portal.

In the above sequence, on 27.02.2026, complainant Govind Kumar, son of Munnilal, resident of Nodiha police station, Sonbhadra district, filed a complaint on the NCRP portal that his uncle Ashish Kumar, son of Buddhinarayan, Ramgarh police station, who works as a tailor in Ramgarh market, was defrauded of about ₹ 85,000/- by unknown persons in the name of selling cheap makeup items, in which ₹20,000/- was taken through UPI and the remaining amount in cash.

In relation to the case, Cyber ​​Crime Case No. 07/2026 Section 318 (4) BNS and 66D IT Act was registered at Sonbhadra Police Station. During the investigation, with the technical support of Cyber ​​​​Cell, the number of the Ertiga car used in the incident was identified on the basis of analysis of Pratimbrak portal, CCTV cameras and suspicious mobile numbers. On receiving the information on 09.03.2026, the team of Cyber ​​​​Crime Police Station caught the said Ertiga car and arrested 03 accused and further legal action is being taken.

The arrested accused were respectively- Mohammad Raza son of Nathu Khan resident of New Gani police station Nawabganj district Farrukhabad, Shoaib Khan son of Nathu Khan resident of New Gani police station Nawabganj district Farrukhabad, Jishan son of Mohammad Badshah resident of Rasulabad police station Bhogaon district Mainpuri.

Details of recovery – ₹4,000/- cash, 01 Aadhar Card, 01 PAN Card, 01 Election Card, 04 ATM Card, 03 Android Mobile Phone, 01 Ertiga Car Vehicle Number-UP28DH6962.
