‘Complete the remaining work of Ganga Expressway as soon as possible,’ CM Yogi ordered
To speed up infrastructure development in the state, CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the under construction and proposed projects. During this, he ordered the officials to complete the remaining works of Ganga Expressway before time and prepare it for its early operation.
With the opening of Ganga Expressway, the journey from Meerut to Prayagraj will become easier. The Chief Minister said that all the big projects going on in the state should be completed within the stipulated time frame and quality standards.
Special attention to deadlines and quality
In the progress review meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath instructed the officials that delay in any project will not be tolerated. There will be no compromise on construction quality. In the meeting, the logistics and transport hub projects related to Chitrakoot Link Expressway, Farrukhabad Link Expressway and Agra-Lucknow Expressway will be reviewed.
Jewar International Airport project also reviewed
The progress of Noida International Airport, Jewar will also be discussed. Officials informed that the airport has recently received a provisional aerodrome license. Along with this, the multi-modal logistics hub and multi-modal transport hub projects developed in Greater Noida are also being reviewed. The Chief Minister has ordered to complete land acquisition and construction works on time.
Instructions to accelerate expressway link projects
The progress of Purvanchal Link Expressway, Jhansi Link Expressway and Jewar Link Expressway was also reviewed in the meeting. The CM directed the concerned District Magistrates that preparations are being made to speed up the process of land acquisition in these projects. All kinds of obstacles will be removed.
Emphasis also on energy and urban development projects
Projects related to energy sector will be reviewed. The Chief Minister also directed to accelerate the work of the proposed pumped storage project in Rihand-Obra area and the proposed 100 MW solar power plant in Jhansi. Along with this, the progress of the proposed Exhibition-cum-Convention Center in Vrindavan Planning area of Lucknow and the proposed Night Safari project in Kukrel area was also reviewed.
Instructions to speed up the land acquisition process
CM has ordered officials to speed up the process of land acquisition for infrastructure projects. The pending work should be completed by June. He said that efforts should be made to remove all kinds of obstacles in the implementation of projects on priority basis. In this way, expressway projects can be started soon.
