Pixel 11 Pro Fold Leak 2026: Impressive Thin Foldable Design
Reportedly, the first sightings of the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold confirm that the device will, among products available from the Pixel Brand, continue Google’s expandable product line and provide a continuation of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold released in 2025 within the non-expanded Pixel family.
What we have learned from all available sources, including the leaks, renders, and design sketches (to date), suggests the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will employ overall aesthetic qualities similar to existing Pixels, as well as some new advances via materials utilized and slight modifications to various design elements of previous Pixels, for example, improvement of overall aesthetics of foldable products employed by Google, while continuing to upgrade internals without changing the design characteristics of the device in conjunction with its being a foldable product form factor.
Display and Camera Design Updates
The device display is also undergoing some redesigns, as evidenced by leaked images. However, the overall size and several other visual characteristics of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s design remain close to those of their predecessors. The side view shows that the new optical system will have a smaller profile and that the corner curves will be very similar.
The camera’s unique layout, a pill-shaped area housing three cameras, was also changed. Previously, the camera module housed eight cameras. The LED flash may now be located near the back or below the main camera sensor, and a secondary microphone may also have been moved from its previous position up into the camera module.
Thinner Design and Structural Improvements
Additionally, many other changes were made to improve both the look and usability of the phones. For instance, the phone will now have a much thinner profile. The thickness of the new phone is going to be 10.1mm folded and 4.8mm unfolded, compared with 10.8mm folded and 5.2mm unfolded on the previous version.
Reducing thickness will offer users increased portability and improved usability. A complete redesign of the phone’s functionality also provided several distinct benefits to users, as mentioned above: an LED flash located in the left/top corner and alternative positions for the secondary microphone to create a clean design. All these improvements will enhance the camera’s optical performance and appearance. Therefore, this will also result in future redesigns of future Pixel Fold devices.
Display Layout and Foldable Experience
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is set to retain the same display arrangement as earlier Pixel foldable devices, consisting of two individual displays.
The cover screen has an expected centrally positioned punch hole for the selfie camera; from the leaks we’ve seen, the inner foldable display will feature the camera cut-out closer to the corner.
Closed, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold can be used just like any other smartphone; opened, it functions like a tablet.
The inner display will feature very thin bezels that extend around the raised edges to help protect the folding display when closed.

Expected Hardware and Tensor Performance
According to leaked images of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, it appears to use Google’s own Tensor processor; however, the official specifications have yet to be confirmed.
According to previous reports, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may feature Google’s current-generation Tensor processor and up to 16 GB of RAM, significantly improving the performance of AI-driven applications and overall functionality.
The benefits of Google’s Tensor processors are their ability to enhance AI-driven functionality.
Some AI-driven functions that have been improved through Google’s Tensor processors include:
- Real-Time Language Translation
- Image Processing and Computational Photography
- AI-based Functions On Device
- Voice Recognition
For many years, this functionality has been a primary selling point for Google’s Pixel devices.
Compared to Previous Pixel Foldable Devices:
The Pixel Fold was introduced by Google as the first foldable device in its Pixel lineup; its display is very large diagonally and OLED-based; however, it uses a very different method for displaying its content than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
The Pixel Fold has a unique design enabling it to be used as both a phone and a tablet.
OLED-based ring features include an always-on display thanks to Google Tensor chipsets, an advanced camera system, and improvements to hinge design, hinge quality, hinge performance, and overall build quality.

Subsequent devices (Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 10 Pro Fold) improved upon each predecessor in these four areas.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold continues the same incremental updates as the previous models.
Expected Pixel 11 Pro Fold Launch Timeline
Google hasn’t officially confirmed that it is developing the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, but given the historical trends, we anticipate it will launch alongside the Pixel 11 in 2026.
Google usually announces its flagship Pixel smartphones at its annual “Made by Google” hardware event, held at the end of each summer or autumn.
Additional leaks leading up to its launch will provide new insight into device specs, camera specs, battery capacity, and artificial intelligence features.
Conclusion
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold clearly reflects Google’s emphasis on refinement rather than large-scale change, as expected based on leaked renders from various sources.
Example enhancements in the Pixel 11 Pro Fold include a slightly thinner body design with minimal changes to the large-scale module compared to the existing Pixel foldable smartphone lines.
The device’s functionality also appears very similar to that of existing Pixel foldable smartphones; therefore, it will be very familiar to existing Pixel foldable users.
