During this, he said that the Leader of Opposition should understand the basic parliamentary traditions.

Citing books written on parliamentary system, he said that the role of Leader of Opposition is very important. The Leader of the Opposition has the right to criticize the government inside and outside Parliament, but must speak responsibly on issues of national interest.

During this, when he got a chance to speak, Rahul Gandhi said that the House is a symbol of the democratic process and it represents the voice of the entire country. He alleged that the opposition is often prevented from speaking.

During the debate, Ravi Shankar Prasad gave examples of many former leaders and said that in Parliament Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Lal Krishna Advani And Sushma Swaraj Like the leaders have followed the dignity and traditions of the House.

He said that this proposal brought against the Speaker is not sustainable and it cannot be considered in accordance with the traditions of Parliament.
