Mixed signals from global market, general buying trend in Asia

New Delhi. Mixed signals are being received from the global market today. The US market continued to trade under pressure during the last session. However, Dow Johns Futures seems to be trading strongly today.

There was a continuous atmosphere of enthusiasm in the European market during the last session. At the same time, there is a general buying trend in the Asian market today. There was continuous pressure in the US market during the last session, due to which the Wall Street indices closed at flat levels.

The S&P 500 index closed at 6,781.48 points with a weakness of 0.21 percent. In contrast, Nasdaq ended the previous session’s trading at the level of 22,697.10 points with a nominal gain of 0.01 percent. At the same time, Dow Johns Futures is currently seen trading at the level of 47,923.23 points, up by 216.72 points or 0.45 percent.

There was continuous buying in the European market during the last session. The FTSE index closed at 10,412.24 points with a gain of 162.72 points or 1.56 percent. Similarly, the CAC index ended the last session’s trading at the level of 8,057.36 points with a rise of 142 points or 1.76 percent.

Apart from this, DAX index jumped by 559.26 points or 2.33 percent and closed at the level of 23,968.63 points. There seems to be a generally strong trend in the Asian market today. Indices of seven out of nine markets in Asia are trading in the green with a rise, while two indices remain in the red with a decline.

Gift Nifty is trading at the level of 24,290 points with a weakness of 75 points or 0.31 percent. Similarly, the Straits Times Index has slipped 0.13 percent and fallen to the level of 4,854.19 points.

On the other hand, Nikkei index is trading at the level of 55,695 points with a gain of 1,446.61 points or 2.67 percent. Similarly, the SET Composite Index has reached the level of 1,425.94 points with a rise of 1.42 percent. Taiwan Weighted Index has made a strong jump today.

At present, this index has jumped by 1,299.98 points or 3.82 percent and has reached the level of 34,071.85 points. Similarly, Kospi index has reached the level of 5,729.63 points with an increase of 197.04 points or 3.44 percent.

Apart from this, Jakarta Composite Index is trading at the level of 7,460.47 points with a rise of 0.26 percent, Shanghai Composite Index is trading at the level of 4,125.32 points with a slight gain of 0.05 percent and Hang Seng Index is trading at the level of 25,964 points with a nominal gain of 0.02 percent.
