‘Crimes against women have become common in Tamil Nadu’, PM Modi lashed out at DMK, gave a big message before the elections.

PM Modi Tamil Nadu Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday launched projects worth Rs 5,600 crore in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Along with this, he also addressed a public meeting of NDA. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a scathing attack on the DMK government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today is very important for the future of Tamil Nadu. Projects worth Rs 5,600 crore are being launched in today’s programme. These projects are infrastructure, clean energy, petroleum-related construction, highways, railways and rural roads. These projects will increase energy access, improve connectivity and create thousands of jobs for the youth of Tamil Nadu.

What did you say about DMK?

The Prime Minister fiercely attacked the DMK government. He asked the public a question as to what is the situation in Tamil Nadu today. PM Modi further said that violent crimes against women have become common under the DMK government. Recently everyone saw that a DMK member did not even spare a small girl, it was a very horrifying news. Today criminals roam around fearlessly and harm women. Apart from this, PM Modi promised the public that NDA will ensure that the women of Tamil Nadu can live a fear-free life. We will provide safe law and order. Those who face fear will be criminals, not the public.

DMK’s promises are incomplete – PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the DMK government in Tamil Nadu, saying the Center has many big plans for the development of the state, but the DMK has not fulfilled its promises. He alleged that promises like grain warehouse and increasing MSP for farmers are incomplete. Modi also cornered the government on illegal sand mining and said that DMK’s rule revolves around a single family and due to corruption, Tamil Nadu has been made an ATM of one family.

Tamil Nadu’s progress is very important for NDA- PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi said that the progress of Tamil Nadu is very important for the NDA government. Since 2014, the central government has given about Rs 3 lakh crore to Tamil Nadu through transfers alone. This is several times more than the amount sent by the former Congress-DMK government. The NDA government has spent around Rs 57,000 crore on national highways in the state. This is four times more than the amount spent by the Congress-DMK government between 2004-2014. We have invested about Rs 8,000 crore in building rural roads in Tamil Nadu.
