Pakistan tried to give a good start while batting, but their first wicket fell at the score of 41 in the form of Sahibzada Farhan (27). Brilliant bowling by Nahid Rana
Nahid Rana of Bangladesh made Pakistan cry tears of blood. He took 5 wickets for 24 runs in 7 overs at an economy rate of 3.42. Apart from this, the remaining task was completed by Mehdi Hasan Mirza, when he showed the way to the pavilion to 3 batsmen of Shaheen Shah Afridi’s team. Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman got 1 wicket each.
Bangladesh won in the 16th over
Bangladesh’s batsmen did not face much trouble while chasing the target of 115 runs. Even though opener Saif Hasan was out after scoring just 4 runs, Tanjid Hasan played a brilliant inning of 67 runs in 42 balls with the help of 7 fours and 5 sixes. Nazmul Hasan Shanto contributed 27 runs and achieved the target by losing 2 wickets in 15.1 overs.
