Air India Express flight IX 936 encountered a technical problem during landing. Due to the hard landing, the nose wheel of the aircraft was badly damaged, due to which the runway had to be closed immediately. Due to this incident, around 20 flights have been diverted to other airports. According to the airport management, operations can resume in the next 3 to 5 hours after the runway is cleared and the investigation is completed.
