Many New Zealand players benefit in this ranking

It is noteworthy that many white ball players of New Zealand have benefited in this ranking. At present the New Zealand women’s team is in excellent form. They have taken a 2-0 lead over Zimbabwe in the three-match ODI series at home and it is no surprise that new captain Mellie Kerr is leading the way with both bat and ball. Kerr took four wickets in the opening match of the series and then improved it by taking an impressive seven wickets in the second match in Dunedin. She became the seventh player overall to take seven or more wickets in a women’s ODI match.

Brooke Halliday moves up eight places to 11th

Due to this brilliant performance, she has climbed five places to 11th position in the list of ODI bowlers. This 25 year old talented player is also at fifth position in the list of all-rounders with an increase of one place. New Zealand’s Brooke Halliday (up eight places to 11th) and Maddy Green (up four places to 22nd) have also jumped in the list of batsmen. In West Indies’ three-match home series against Sri Lanka, left-handed batsman Hasini Perera helped Sri Lanka win the T20 series by scoring an unbeaten half-century in the third and last match in St. George, due to which she has jumped 15 places to 28th position.
