Exciting teaser of Naga Chaitanya’s film ‘Vrishkarma’ released
To share the glimpse video, production house Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC) took to its social media handle and wrote, “A mythological thriller like never before. Enter the world of #VrishKarma. #VrishKarma glimpse out now. In the vision of Yuvasamraat @chay_akkineni @karthikdandu86.”
The glimpse video begins with a man, possessed by an evil power, drawing a portrait of a man with his eye gouged out. After finishing his sketch, he starts writhing in pain and finally we see a bat-like creature come out of his mouth. He makes his way in and kills a man exactly as the portrait was created.
A voiceover says, “When a strange power awakens… when the world deviates from its purpose… fate takes its own course.” The video also gives a glimpse of the characters of Jayaram, Meenakshi Choudhary and Naga Chaitanya in the film.
The makers have already revealed that Meenakshi Choudhary is playing a character named Daksha in the film, while Jayaram is playing a character named Professor Ranganath.
This sneak peek video proves Naga Chaitanya’s claims before starting work on this film.
The actor had said in an interview that his upcoming film with director Karthik, who is known for directing the horror thriller ‘Virupaksha’, will be a mythological thriller.
Naga Chaitanya had said, “This will be a very VFX-based cinema and I am very excited about this project.” The actor had further told that he has not done such a film in his 15 years of film career.
The actor had then said, “This film will be in the zone of adventure, treasure hunting.”
Recall that the makers of the film had released the title of the film last year on Naga Chaitanya’s birthday. The makers further released the first look poster of Naga Chaitanya from “Vrishkarma”.
In the poster he was in a raw and fierce avatar. Naga Chaitanya was seen showing off his muscular physique and his expressions were also intense.
Sharing the first look poster of the film on Instagram, Naga Chaitanya had written, “#Vrishkarma this is for #nc24 (sic)”.
Karthik Dandu’s directorial venture is being extensively backed by producers BVSN Prasad and Sukumar under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP (SVCC) and Sukumar Writings.
The film also has a strong technical team. The story of ‘Vrishkarma’ has been written by director Sukumar. The cinematography of the film has been done by the talented Neil D’Cunha, while Ajneesh Loknath has given the music of the film. National award winner Naveen Nooli is heading the editing department. The art direction of the upcoming mythological film is done by Shri Nagendra Tangala, who previously worked on Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thandel’.
