BCCI has announced a huge reward of Rs 131 crore for the players, coaching staff and support staff of Team India, which will remain champion in the T20 World Cup 2026. On March 8, India won the T20 World Cup trophy for the third time by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
On the morning of Tuesday, March 10, BCCI announced this grand prize by issuing an official media release. With this victory, India has become the first team to retain the T20 World Cup consecutively and win the title thrice, further strengthening its supreme position in this format.

BCCI has said in its official release that the board announces a cash reward of Rs 131 crore for Team India after its excellent performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. India lifted the prestigious trophy by defeating New Zealand in the final of the T20 World Cup 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and successfully defended the title. India has become the first country in the history of the tournament to retain the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
With this title win, India also became the first team to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup three times, further cementing their place among the most successful teams in the history of this format. Money received on victory of 2024
BCCI had announced a huge prize money of Rs 125 crore for the Indian team after becoming the winner of T20 World Cup 2024. This amount was distributed not only among the players, but also among the coaching staff and other support members. The selection committee also got a share of this reward.
