Making the announcement on their social media handles, production house Mythri Movie Makers wrote, “Our USTAAD arrives a week early for a big celebration at the box office! #UstaadBhagatSingh grand release worldwide on March 19, 2026. #UBSOnMarch19th.”
Fans and film lovers are happy with the news of the film’s release date being extended.
On Wednesday, the makers had announced that they are bringing in ace music director Thaman to compose the background music of the film.
The makers had said that they were doing this because music director Devi Sri Prasad, who is composing the music for the songs of the film, would not have enough time for the background score of the film. Hence, the makers said that after mutual consent, they are bringing in Thaman and now the film will have two music directors.
Renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers, in a statement shared on their social media handles, said, “Thank you for the blockbuster response for #Dekhlengesaala and #Auraofustaad from ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. Your love for music has been tremendous.”
The production house further said, “We are sure that the upcoming song will definitely stir your hearts. Rockstar DSP and director Harish Shankar has once again given such songs which are being celebrated by fans everywhere.”
Then Maithri made a big announcement. The production house said, “Now, due to our delay in finalizing and sending the reels for the background score to DSP, we are not able to match his timeline that he had dedicated for this film. Due to his earlier commitments, DSP is not able to accommodate it in his schedule despite trying his best. We respect his decision, and with mutual consent, we are taking on Thaman for the background score. DSP’s songs will make you dance Will force it, while Thaman will handle the background score.”
The makers further clarified that this decision was taken keeping in mind the timeline and overall vision of the film and the work will be completed smoothly without any delay.
“This step has been taken after mutual discussions and in the best interest of the film. It is a powerful musical combination. Two ace musicians with the same vision to make ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ a grand celebration and a lifetime memory for the fans. Get ready for a truly memorable experience in theatres!”
