‘It’s not love jihad, I got married as per Hindu customs’, Monalisa said after marrying her Muslim boyfriend

Let us tell you, there were many types of discussions after Monalisa’s marriage. Because she married a Muslim youth. After the marriage, Monalisa’s father had also alleged that Farman got married by practicing witchcraft. The father told that he protested during the marriage, but Monalisa did not listen and got married. The father also took help of the police to stop the marriage, but the police also distanced themselves saying that he was an adult.

What did Monalisa say after marriage?

Monalisa said, “Farhan did not want to marry us, but we ourselves got married adamantly. My family was also against this marriage. My family members were getting me married to my aunt’s son. He seemed like my brother, so I thought that I will not marry him. Our marriage took place in a temple as per Hindu customs. People are talking about love jihad. There is nothing like that. We have not changed any religion, but got married in the temple itself.” So Farman said that we are artists and for us all religions are the same. ‘All religions are my religions’.

Where did the issue of love jihad come from?

When Monalisa got fame in Mahakumbh, the first person who called her for work was director Sanoj Mishra. After the marriage, she wrote on social media, “This is not a rebellion, it is love jihad. It is a very bad day of my life. While Monalisa is in the news, I am in depression. Because the girl living in the forests had gone to her camp in Maheshwar after going viral in the Mahakumbh. I announced to make her an actress by training her. Sanoj clearly said that she has become a victim of jihad.”
