On Wednesday, a large number of people were seen standing outside a gas agency located in Sector 63, waiting for cylinders. Many people complained that their booking was not being done and the cylinder was also not being delivered on time.
People were seen running away with cylinders in the colony
A video from Basti district of Uttar Pradesh is becoming increasingly viral on social media these days. This video has exposed the situation of shortage of gas cylinders in the area. In the viral video, hundreds of people are seen running to stand in line outside the agency carrying gas cylinders on their heads and shoulders. These also include women and elderly people.

According to the information, this video is said to be of Mahagauri Gas Agency located at Mahadeva intersection of Bankati development block of Basti district. A large number of people reached here on Tuesday morning to get gas cylinders. It is being told that long queues of customers started forming from around 4 in the morning.
As soon as the gate of the agency was opened at around 7 in the morning, people quickly ran inside to get the cylinder. During this time, many people were seen running away carrying cylinders on their heads and shoulders, due to which a situation like chaos was created at the spot for some time.
Kicking and punching outside the gas agency
There is news from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh that a violent clash broke out between the customers who had come to get gas cylinders on Wednesday morning at Ashish Indane Gas Agency located in PPganj police station area. According to the information, a dispute started between the youths of two parties over an attempt to forcibly enter the line and the matter soon turned into a scuffle. Kicking and punching started between both the parties, due to which an atmosphere of chaos was created there.

Police force was also present at the spot at the time of the incident. The police immediately intervened and brought the situation under control. Both the parties involved in the fight were detained and released after giving strict warnings.
People troubled by shortage of gas cylinders
It is being told that people are very worried due to shortage of gas cylinders in the area, due to which such a huge crowd is gathering outside the agency. At present, no official statement has come out from the administration in this matter.
