The government clearly says that Lack of money should not come in the way of any child’s dreams.
What is PACE scheme and why was it started?
PACE means Punjab Academic Coaching for Excellence There is an initiative through which talented students of government schools are being prepared for major competitive exams. Generally, coaching for exams like IIT, NIT and AIIMS is very expensive, which not every family can afford.
In such a situation, the Punjab government thought that Children of government schools should also get the same opportunities as children of big private schools. With this thinking in mind, this scheme was started so that the children of villages can also dream big and fulfill them.
More than 1700 students are getting free coaching
Total in this program 1,728 students has been selected. These students will be sent to different centers Residential Coaching Camp Kept in, where along with studies, they are also getting the right environment and guidance.
Three big centers have been created for coaching –
Bathinda – 601 students
Ludhiana – 573 students
Mohali – 554 students

Students were selected in a transparent manner
