The actress said in a video clip, “I can’t lie that these have been stressful days. We’re nervous and it’s been scary. There were a lot of fighter jets flying overhead, very loud explosions. Even though we live in a villa in a very safe neighborhood, the windows shake, the house and doors rattle, and it’s disturbing. But I haven’t felt unsafe even once,” admitting that Nervous energy forced him to do so.

Tension in the Middle East increased rapidly after the joint attack by America and Israel against Iran on February 28. Tehran responded by firing drones and missiles at Israel, US military bases in the Gulf region and the global business hub of Dubai.

He praised the UAE government and said they were doing a “great job” and that they were being “taken care of” and “protected” no matter which country they were from.

“…We feel that we count, that we matter. The UAE government, as someone living in this city, is making sure that they do everything they can to protect us and keep us safe,” Dutta said.

The actor praised his workers, from gardeners to delivery riders, and said he has great respect for the everyday heroes who run the country.

He said they are looking for flights back to India, but they are not available.

“We are trying to go back to Mumbai, especially because the children are very nervous, us and the adults too. We are trying to get out,” said an emotional Dutta.

She said, “I was in India, of course, when there was a war between India and Pakistan, and we saw how well our country protected us then. And it’s the same here. No one, no ordinary citizen, deserves to live in fear or get caught in a war that is destabilizing the entire region.”

Dutta said he hoped “common sense and better judgment will prevail.”
