The countdown has begun for Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The first song from the film, Aari Aari, which is the title track of Dhurandhar 2, was dropped today, March 12, 2026. On Aditya Dhar’s birthday, the song is packed with pulsating beats, powerful vocals and explosive rap sections. “Aari Aari” sets the tone for the film. Ranveer Singh nails it yet again with his long tresses and the way he fights. The track is not tribal, but the revamped version is no less than a banger.

With 2000s foot-tapping music and powerful visuals mixed with new-age beats, the track offers a glimpse into the gritty and adrenaline-charged world of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

The track has been composed, arranged and programmed by Shashwat Sachdev, who blends contemporary music production with Punjabi influences to craft an infectious and energetic sound.

The song features vocals by Navtej Singh Rehal of Bombay Rockers, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas and Sudhir Yaduvanshi. The rap portions are performed and written by Rebel and Token, adding a dynamic edge to the track.

The lyrics have been penned by acclaimed lyricist Irshad Kamil along with Bombay Rockers, while the score has been produced by Adam Lucas.

Fans can’t stop gushing over Ranveer’s new song Aari Aari

One fan commented, “Rebel deserves as much hype as Hanumankind. She’s fire..”

Another wrote, “Shashwat Sachdev is becoming one of my favs quickly… Damn this is good.”

A third commented, “Not that the hype wasn’t already insane but holy f**k. Proper banger. 18th can’t come soon enough.”

Another fan wrote, “Absolute banger. Sachdev has turned a fun song into battle music!”

Will Yami Gautam make a cameo appearance in Dhurandhar 2?

As per Box Office Worldwide, Yami’s cameo will happen in a hospital setting, marking a pivotal appearance rather than a blink-and-miss moment. As per the report, Yami’s cameo is “positioned to push the narrative forward at a critical juncture”. However, it should be noted that there is no official confirmation on this.

Some reports, including MensXP, even mention that Yami could reprise her character from the Vicky Kaushal-starrer Uri. In the 2019 film, she played an intelligence officer who works closely with the Indian armed forces during the covert mission depicted in the movie. However, this also remains unconfirmed.

Part 1 to re-release before the sequel on March 13

A week before Dhurandhar 2 hits the big screen, its makers on Thursday announced that they are re-releasing the first part in cinema halls worldwide.
