A massive fire broke out this morning in an electricity meter manufacturing company located in Sector-4, Noida, adjacent to Delhi. The fire was so terrible that the entire building turned into a cloud of smoke. At the time of the accident, 240 employees were working inside the factory, many of whom got trapped in the flames. The injured have been admitted to the hospital through ambulance. More than 25 fire tenders are present at the spot. The work of extinguishing the fire is going on.

After the fire, the plume of smoke can be seen from several kilometers away. According to the information, a massive fire broke out in a company named B-40 Capital Power System Limited. This fire suddenly broke out at around 5:30 in the morning. The place where the fire broke out is a three-storey building where the work of making electricity meters is done. When the fire broke out, night shift workers were present inside the factory.

Within no time the fire took a huge form, causing panic in the entire factory. About 26 employees have been seriously injured while trying to save their lives. Many people were taken out safely by the rescue team by breaking the windows of the building. The injured were immediately admitted to nearby hospitals, where their treatment is ongoing.

As soon as the information was received, top police officers and fire brigade team reached the spot. 25 units of fire brigade have been deployed. Firefighters are risking their lives to rescue people trapped inside the building and try to control the fire.

What did the Joint Commissioner say in the matter?

Joint Commissioner Law and Order Rajiv Narayan Mishra said – At present the priority is to extinguish the fire and provide better treatment to the injured. The fire broke out due to short circuit or any other reason, it will be investigated by the police and fire department.
