National Unity And Solidarity Week: There is a lot of turmoil in the political circles of Iran these days and the administration has prepared to show its internal strength. Vice President Mohammad-Reza Arif has officially made a big announcement to celebrate National Unity and Solidarity Week in the country. This decision is inspired by the first message of the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in which he has emphasized on mutual unity among the people. Amidst external threats, Iran is engaged in this new and diplomatic effort to strengthen itself internally.

New basis of unity and security

Vice President Mohammad-Reza Arif stressed that the real strength and security of the country rests only on the active presence and unbreakable unity of the people. Following the instructions of the new supreme leader, the administration is now going to organize various national programs to unite the citizens. The main objective of this special week is to make the internal walls of the country stronger and unshakable than ever before against external attacks.

Strict stance on the Strait of Hormuz

Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has closed the vital global trade route ‘Strait of Hormuz’. Now a very strict and aggressive stance has been adopted regarding this. He has demanded in clear words that effective methods of continuously closing this strategic sea route should definitely be used. This decision could pose a major challenge to global oil supply and maritime traffic, which is sure to increase tension in the international market.

Iran’s stand on the international stage

Iran’s representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, clarified that maintaining peace and security in the Hormuz region is his country’s ‘birthright’ Is. Accusing America, Iravani said that instability in the region is only a direct result of American activities and attacks against Iran. He reiterated that Iran respects freedom of navigation but will never compromise its territorial security and sovereignty.
