Kia Carens Clavis EV GT-Line And X-Line Prices Leaked Ahead Of Official Launch
The South Korean automotive giant Kia India will be expanding its Carens Clavis EV MPV lineup with the launch of the Carens Clavis EV GT Line and X-Line variants. The new GT Line and X-Line variants according to the leaked pricing chart will start at Rs 22.99 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 24.99 lakh. Both of these variants will be offered with 6- and 7-seater configurations. It has to be noted that these top-of-the-line variants will only come equipped with the bigger 51.4 kWh battery pack.
Kia Carens Clavis EV GT Line and X-Line pricing
First off, let’s talk about the pricing of the Kia Carens Clavis EV new top-spec variants. There will be two trims in the new GT Line. The first will be the GTX, and the other will be the GTX+. The Carens Clavis ER GTX 6-seater version will be priced at Rs 22.99 lakh. Meanwhile, the ER GTX 7-seater version is also priced at Rs 22.99 lakh.
In addition to the GTX, the company will launch the GTX+ trims as well. Both the 6-seater and the 7-seater versions of the Extended Range GTX+ variant will be priced at Rs 24.99 lakh. Lastly, Kia will also offer the Carens Clavis EV in its signature X-Line trim as well, and for the 6- and 7-seater trims, it will be priced at Rs 24.99 lakh. As for the standard variants, the Clavis EV starts at Rs 17.99 lakh.
What’s new in the Kia Carens Clavis EV GT Line and X-Line variants?

Like the Kia Seltos and the Sonet GT Line, the new Carens Clavis EV GT Line will boast a more sporty exterior design. It will come offered with gloss black exterior accents, sportier front and rear bumpers, and exclusive alloy wheel design with GT Line badging. On the inside, it will come with a dark interior theme and contrast stitching.
Meanwhile, the Kia Carens Clavis EV X-Line trim will come with the familiar matte graphite exterior paint, dark gunmetal trim elements, exclusive X-Line badging, and unique interior upholstery. Both the GT Line and X-Line variants will get the same 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument gauge cluster from the top-of-the-line HTX+ trim.
Other notable highlights of this MPV will include an 8-speaker BOSE premium sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, a 4-way adjustable powered driver seat, rain-sensing wipers, and Level 2 ADAS with Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Forward Collision-Avoidance. They also get a 360-degree camera as well.

As mentioned above, the new Carens Clavis EV has also been given a 6-seater configuration as well. The new layout replaces the second-row bench seat with two captain’s seats, adjustable armrests, along with slide and recline functions.
Both the Carens Clavis EV GT Line and X-Line variants will only be offered with the Extended Range 51.4 kWh battery pack. As per Kia, this battery pack offers a range of 490 km (ARAI-certified) on a single full charge. As for the powerplant, it gets a front-mounted electric motor capable of producing 171 bhp and 255 Nm of torque.

The Carens Clavis EV supports 100 kW DC fast charging, and 10 to 80 percent using this charger only takes 39 minutes. For home charging, Kia offers the Clavis EV ER with an 11 kW AC wall box charger, and the standard models get a 7 kW charger.
