Ramky Infrastructure secures Rs 3,000 crore project for pharmaceutical park development

Ramky Infrastructure Limited has announced the signing of a concession agreement with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation for a high-tech pharmaceutical park project valued at ₹3,000 crore. The project will be developed in Raigad district, Maharashtra.

The pharmaceutical park, to be established across approximately 1,000 hectares in the Dighi Port Industrial Area, will be implemented on a Public-Private Partnership basis under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer model. The concession period spans 95 years, with a construction period of five years. The project will contribute to Ramky’s order book, raising it to ₹13,500 crore.

The park aims to create a world-class integrated life sciences manufacturing ecosystem, providing infrastructure for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences companies. It will feature industrial zones, commercial areas, and shared facilities, fostering innovation and collaboration.

The revenue model includes land lease premiums, development charges, and operational charges for utilities. The project is expected to boost regional industrial infrastructure, attract investment, and generate employment.

Sunil S Nair, CEO of Ramky Infrastructure, highlighted the project’s potential to support employment, regional infrastructure, and innovation, attracting long-term investment into Maharashtra.
