CM Bhupendra Patel gave 40 electrical cars to ITI institutes, trying to provide practical knowledge of EV sector
Gujarat: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel distributed 40 electric cars to various Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) of the state in the capital Gandhinagar. The purpose of distribution of these cars is to provide practical training in EV technology to the trainees of motor mechanic trade. More than eight thousand youth studying in ITIs of the state will get the opportunity to learn modern technology through this initiative.
Inauguration of Dhanvantari Arogya Rath-Mobile Medical Van
In the programme, CM inaugurated 50 Dhanvantari Arogya Raths and six mobile medical vans. With the help of vehicles, primary health services will be provided to construction workers and laborers near their workplace. The intention behind this initiative was to equip ITI with modern technology in view of the rapidly growing electric vehicle sector of the state Labor, Skill Development and Employment Department.
Today, 40 electric cars were dedicated to Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in Gandhinagar and Dhanvantari Arogya Rath and Mobile Medical Van were inaugurated for Shram Yogis.

Demand for experts is continuously increasing
The demand for experts in areas like battery technology, embedded software and electric powertrain is continuously increasing in the automobile industry. In such a situation, ITI is trying to connect students with new technology by providing 40 electric cars.

At the same time, with the help of Dhanwantri Arogya Rath, common diseases like diarrhea, skin disease and fever can be treated and tests like blood, sugar and malaria can be done. First aid can also be done through Dhanvantari Arogya Rath. At present, a total of 206 Dhanvantari Arogya Raths and 31 mobile medical vans are working in 34 districts of the state.
The initiative of Gujarat government is being considered a very important step towards making the youth employable and providing better health facilities to the workers.
