Pakistan batsman Salman Ali Aga was in good form, but Bangladesh captain Mehdi Hasan was run out due to the cleverness of Miraj. This incident has become a topic of discussion on social media.

How did the run out become a controversy?

This incident happened in the 39th over of Pakistan’s innings. Mehdi Hasan Miraj was bowling. Mohammad Rizwan played the ball lightly towards the on side. The speed of the ball was low, so Mehdi himself ran to stop the ball. Salman Ali Aga, standing at the non-striker end, came in the middle and there was a slight collision between the two players.

The ball stopped near Salman’s feet. Salman thought of picking up the ball and returning it to Mehdi, so he bent down, but he was out of the crease. Mehdi first picked up the ball and hit it on the stump with an underarm throw. After which there was an appeal, the umpire took opinion from the third umpire and declared Salman out. Salman returned to the pavilion after scoring 64 runs on 62 balls.

Salman throws helmet and gloves in anger

Salman was very angry. He was telling Mehdi that he was returning the ball, but Mehdi said that he was out of the crease. After the decision was taken, Salman threw away the helmet and gloves. Bangladeshi players became aggressive, but Rizwan calmed them down. There was an argument on the field for some time.
