American KC-135 tanker plane crashes, 4 crew members killed, 2 missing

US Aircraft Crashes: Bad news has come for America amidst the ongoing war in West Asia. On Thursday, the US Air Force’s KC-135 tanker plane crashed. It happened in western Iraq. 4 crew members died in this accident, while the search for 2 crew is going on. This was confirmed by the US Central Command.

Accident happened in western Iraq

US Central Command had given information about this accident through a post on its official social media handle X. It was reported in the post that this incident took place in the friendly country’s airspace during Operation Epic Fury. Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of these planes crashed in western Iraq, while the other landed safely. This accident happened neither due to the firing of the enemy country nor due to the firing of the friendly country.

US Central Command gave further information in another post. It was told that there were 6 crew on board the plane during the accident, out of which four members have died. Although the IRGC claimed that they shot down the plane, the US military rejected this claim.

Identity of deceased soldiers will be kept secret 24 hours

The US Army informed in its post that the identity of the dead soldiers will be kept secret for 24 hours. At present the reasons for the accident are still being ascertained.
