PM Modi’s strong attack in Assam rally, said
Tezzbuzz Desk – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a large rally from Guwahati in Assam on Friday, made sharp attacks on the Congress and praised the functioning of the double engine BJP-NDA government in the state. PM Modi told the gathering that due to bad weather he could not go to Kokrajhar and hence was communicating with the people from Guwahati only.

PM Modi said that Congress is a shop of false promises and the party always keeps people entangled in false dreams. He said, “Congress gives 4 super lies as a gift, but has no intention of fulfilling the promises. Congress works to create division among the people, while our double engine government is continuously working on the path of development.”
He further said that the BJP-NDA government is making continuous efforts to save the heritage of Assam and for the rapid development of the state. Kokrajhar and the surrounding areas have faced a lot of hardships for decades, but today Bodoland is on the path of peace and development.
Big announcements of development and investment
PM Modi also told the gathering that in this program, the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 4,500 crore for the development of Bodoland was laid and inaugurated. Out of this, an amount of more than Rs 1,100 crore will be spent for the roads of Bodoland. He also mentioned the third phase of Assam Mala Abhiyan, which has further strengthened the road connectivity of the state.
Preservation of Bodo community and culture
The Prime Minister praised the language and cultural heritage of the Bodo community. He said that he got a chance to see the rich tradition of Bodo culture in Guwahati a few weeks ago, which made him feel proud.
Peace Accords and Congress Failure
PM Modi also highlighted the peace agreement reached in Bodoland and said that it was the first time that all major organizations and groups came together. He accused the Congress of entangling people with false promises for decades and creating divisions among different communities just for selfish politics.
PM Modi said, “We made sincere efforts and worked for lasting peace. While Congress used to make paper agreements only for show, BJP gave priority to development and peace.”
Public support for development
The Prime Minister also said in the meeting that the people of Assam and Bodoland showed their trust by giving a chance to BJP-NDA and the government fulfilled it. He assured that in future also continuous work will be done for the development, peace and strengthening of infrastructure of the state.
