Blessing Muzarabani: Pakistan has once again been insulted across the world. A Zimbabwean player has openly defamed the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This player has refused to play in PSL. He has withdrawn his name from Pakistan’s T20 League. Now he is going to be seen playing in India. With this, this player has attracted everyone’s attention.

This player will be seen playing in the most popular league of India and the world, IPL. This player is none other than Zimbabwean fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani, who wreaked havoc with the ball in the recently played T20 World Cup 2026 hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Now he will be seen playing in IPL 2026.

Muzarabani will play IPL 2026

He will be seen showing his magic for Kolkata Knight Riders in the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League. Along with this, he will replace Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who was dropped from IPL 2026 by BCCI and KKR after much controversy.

Mustafizur Rahman was banned from IPL 2026 after the continuous atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. She was the only Bangladeshi player included in this season of IPL, who was dropped from the IPL after huge protests in India for not having any relation with Bangladesh. Now Blessing Muzarabani will replace him in Kolkata Knight Riders owned by Shahrukh Khan.

Muzarabani created a stir in the T20 World Cup

Blessing Muzarabani had performed amazingly with the ball in the T20 World Cup 2026. He was the bowler who took the most wickets in the tournament for Zimbabwe. Along with this, he was the overall fourth bowler to take the most wickets in the T20 World Cup 2026. He took a total of 13 wickets for his team in 6 innings of 6 matches. During this period, 4/17 was his best performance.

How is Blessing Muzarabani’s career?

Blessing Muzarabani made her international debut in 2017. He made his test debut in 2017. After this, he made his ODI and T20 debut for Zimbabwe in the year 2018. So far, he has taken 67 wickets in 27 innings of 18 test matches for his country.

Apart from this, Blessing Muzarabani has taken a total of 70 wickets in 55 innings of 57 ODI matches for Zimbabwe. His best performance during this period has been 5/49. He has also achieved 1 five wicket haul in ODI cricket. He has a total of 106 wickets in his name in 86 innings of 89 T20 matches. His economy is 7.24 and his best performance in T20 is 4/17.
