22nd installment of PM Kisan released, has the money received in your account? Know how to check your status

PM Kisan 22nd Installment Released: Giving huge financial relief to the food providers of the country, the Central Government has launched ‘Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi’. The 22nd installment of (PM-Kisan) scheme has been released. During a special event held on 13 March 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred an amount of ₹2,000 to the bank accounts of crores of eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

This time the government has transferred a total amount of more than ₹ 20,000 crore to the accounts of more than 9.5 crore beneficiary farmers. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers are given financial assistance of ₹6,000 every year, payable in three equal installments of ₹2,000 at an interval of four months. This is being considered a big gift for the farmers waiting for the 22nd installment before the festival of Holi.

Which farmers got the benefit?

The benefit of the 22nd installment has been given only to those farmers who had completed their e-KYC process. The government has made the rules quite strict for some time now to prevent fraud. The following conditions were mandatory to get the installment-

• e-KYC: Aadhaar based authentication mandatory.
• Land Seeding: Verification of land documents with bank account.
• Aadhaar Linking: Bank account linked to Aadhaar and DBT activated.

How to check your status?

If you are a registered farmer and want to check whether the money has come to your account or not, follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of PM Kisan (pmkisan.gov.in).
• ‘Know Your Status’ present on the homepage Click on Options.
• Enter your registration number or mobile number and fill the captcha code.
• After this ‘Get Data’ As soon as you click on it, the complete details of the installment will appear in front of you.

What to do if you do not get money?

Many times the installment gets stopped due to technical reasons or wrong information. If the money has not come to your account, you can contact PM Kisan helpline number 155261 or 1800115526 (Toll Free). Apart from this, you can get land registration and Aadhaar correction done by visiting your block or district agriculture office.
