Inside Kuldeep Yadav’s wedding: Mehendi, haldi in Mussoorie, wedding card goes viral; Rinku Singh, Yuzvendra Chahal dance

The wedding season is going on in full swing. After Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay, Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya, and most recently Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur, Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav is set to tie the knot with his childhood friend Vanshika on Saturday. The pre-wedding celebrations began on Friday at a five-star hotel in Mussoorie.

Cricketer Rinku Singh, along with his fiancée-politician Priya Saroj, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and the Indian cricket team’s fielding coach T Dilip, have already reached the ‘Queen of Hills’ to attend the wedding ceremonies.

Several videos and photos from the pre-wedding have gone viral. A clip shared by Yuzvendra Chahal shows Vanshika and Kuldeep’s haldi ceremony, wherein Yuzvi is seen applying turmeric to Kuldeep.

Other clips show Kuldeep dancing with Vanshika, Yuvi, Dilip, and Rinku Singh, who were also seen enjoying.

One video shows Kuldeep and Vanshika enjoying the music and getting into the groove with a hearty laugh, with the song Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali playing in the background. They were also seen being welcomed with dhol and music, with guests shaking a leg to the beats.

Taking to social media, Dilip expressed his excitement and said, “Sath mein rehte hain… khelte hai aur friend bhi hai… To, accha lagta hai! (We live together, we play together, and we are friends too… So, it feels good!)”

A wedding invitation card is also going viral on social media. Their Radha Krishna-themed card has caught attention as it comes in a box featuring a cut-out of the deity, a small idol of Ganpati, two white boxes, and the wedding and reception details.

As per the card, the wedding will be held at Hotel Savoy.

After the wedding ceremony, the couple will head to their hometown, Kanpur. The reception will be held at Hotel Centrum on the coming Tuesday, which is expected to be attended by cricketers, officials from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), politicians, and celebrities.

Kuldeep’s coach, Kapil Pandey, had earlier said, “After the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup victory, it’s like ‘sone pe suhaga’. In November, it (the wedding was pushed due to his cricket commitments, but now the timing is perfect. He is in a very happy state of mind, and so are we all.”

Kuldeep and Vanshika got engaged on June 4, 2025, in Lucknow. The budget for this wedding is expected to exceed Rs 2 crore.
