The aircraft carrier was near the Oman Sea at that time. Advanced missiles and drones were used in the operation. The operation was carried out to protect Iran’s sovereignty and prevent pressure from foreign powers. However, Tehran did not say anything about the amount of damage caused in the incident.

However, America has not yet confirmed the news of this attack. Citing a US official, CBS News reported that Iran tried to attack Abraham Lincoln earlier this week. Several Tehran ships came close to the aircraft carrier. But the US Navy acted quickly. Iranian ships have been retaliated strongly. It has been claimed that two Iranian ships have been destroyed by US missiles.
