What truth did you tell?
Neena Gupta told Bollywood Hungama, ‘I am not pregnant, what you guys are seeing looks like this because the material of the saree is thick. But I am happy that everyone is watching such news, it shows that we are progressing as a country. The news of Neena being pregnant dates back to 1989 when she gave birth to Masaba. Neena did her schooling from Himachal and after that she obtained MPhil degree in Sanskrit. Did theater since college days and got into films. She became a well-known star in the 90s itself. But the 80s were very difficult for him.
Difficulties faced after daughter’s birth
Neena had worked in a film named Saath Saath in the year 1982 and this was the beginning of her cinematic career which was directed by Raman Kumar. But he got recognition by the film Gandhi which was released in 1982 and was successful in winning the Oscar. In this film, Neena plays the role of Gandhi’s granddaughter Abha. After this, she did wonders in the 1983 film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and became a star. Masaba was at the peak of her career and she became friends with West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards. Both of them fell in love and were in a relationship for some time. During this time, Nina became pregnant and Vivian refused to marry.
